David Gingerich, a Master Gardner and former arborist, has worked with plants most of his life. His passion for soil health began years ago when he became frustrated that many of the plants in our landscapes seemed to be in poor health despite regular fertilizer and pest control treatments. He began learning more about soil and its impact on plants and our own health.
David sold his landscape maintenance business and started BioReGenesis early in 2023 because he realized the importance of focusing on soil and plant health. Later that year, he met his (now) wife Debra and she joined him. After working 13 years in healthcare and becoming equally frustrated by the limitations of the current approaches to human health, Debra branched out. Together, she and David are actively searching for and sharing better solutions for health. Their studies and training include agricultural workshops, David's decades of personal experience in the green industry, personal development training from Peter Sage and Rory Kilmartin, and Debra's practice in physical therapy. They believe, practice, and teach principles from the Bible.
We facilitate and promote community gardening. Last year we were blessed to donate freshly grown carrots, potatoes, garlic and onions from our small personal garden! It was a terrific way to share the bounty with our neighbors, educate about plant and soil health, and meet new people! Going forward, we have plans to add a community garden at our headquarters. If you know of any community growing projects in our community that we can support, we would love to help!
At BioReGenesis, we believe in supporting our local community. We work closely with farmers, producers, landscape maintenance companies to promote local agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and healthy landscapes. We offer educational tours and workshops for schools and community groups to teach people about the importance of soil and gut health. We also donate a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations that support our community. We love our community and are committed to serving our neighbors in any way we can.
